The Challenge

High Cholesterol Isn’t Just About Diet Weight Can Play a Big Role

Statins help with “bad cholesterol” but weight still matters

Statins can lower LDL, often called “bad cholesterol”. But they may not fully improve other cholesterol problems, such as high triglycerides or low “good cholesterol”. For many people, losing weight can help improve the overall picture.
📖 NICE Guideline CG181 — Cardiovascular disease risk, 2023

Losing weight can help improve blood fats

Triglycerides are a type of fat in the blood. They often rise with excess weight, sugary foods, and refined carbs. Weight loss can help bring them down and support better metabolic health.

Specialist NHS support can take time

For people with weight-related cholesterol problems, specialist NHS weight-management support can involve long waiting times. WeightFall helps you start sooner, with a clinician review within 1 working day.

Is this a medical treatment for high cholesterol?
No. WeightFall provides clinician-led medicated weight management. It does not treat dyslipidaemia. Some patients see lipid improvements — but this is not guaranteed.
No — individual results vary significantly. No specific lipid or health outcome is guaranteed.
Yes. Your clinician reviews your current medication. GLP-1 medication can be used alongside statins — your clinician manages any interactions.
Every 3 weeks your GLP-1 specialist clinician reviews your progress, weight, side effects, and any available blood results. Plan adjusted accordingly. Fully online.
We cannot make this claim. Some patients have deferred statin initiation with their GP’s agreement following lipid improvements — but this is entirely your GP’s decision.
Not without consent. With permission, we can share progress summaries with your GP.
If a clinician determines treatment isn’t appropriate, your payment for that order is refunded.
First treatment dose, clinical assessment review, clinician sign-off, and first 3-weekly check-in. Prices vary by treatment type and dose.
No. Treatment is reviewed continuously. Your clinician guides you on tapering if you choose to stop.
Some patients see triglyceride improvements within 8–12 weeks. LDL changes typically require more sustained weight loss over 3–6 months. Individual results vary.
Having recent lipid panel results is helpful but not mandatory to begin the eligibility check. Your clinician will advise on monitoring during the programme.
Yes. You don’t need a GP referral. Our UK-registered clinicians assess your suitability independently.
